    Canadian gauges to US gauges

So I bought a 92 xj that was made in Canada so the gauges are metric. Water temp is in Celsius, oil pressure is in bar, and Speedo is in km/hr.

Can I get a US gauges and just swap it in? Or do I need the sensors for the US gauges? Or can I just get a new over lay for the gauges in standard units and have the gauges read right?

As far as I know Josh, you can. The gauges bolt in. To be safe though, change out the sensors with it and you will be safe.

    P. S. Staring at those metric gauges will give you a Canadian accent

A little research it sounds like the are different sensors for the two countries. So will need to swap to US sensors when swapping the gauges as well.

Yes, typically just match the sensors with the gauges. Should be able to get the stuff at the pick and pull easily

Yeah just need to look at row52.com and see what's in the yards around here. I need to find one with xj's in it and zj's since I need a few parts from both.
